Play Blackjack with your favorite NASCAR drivers at the Second Annual Brendan Gaughan Celebrity Blackjack Tournament!

Begin the evening in the South Point Grandview Lounge for Cocktails, Hors d'oeuvres and introduction of NASCAR drivers and celebrities playing in the tournament.

Buy in/Entry Fee

• $1,500 per team of three (3) or $500 per person.

Schedule:

• 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM - Team Captain Checks-In Outside of Grandview Lounge
• 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM - Doors to Participant Registration, Cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres in the South Point Grandview Lounge
• 5:00 PM - Brendan Gaughan Welcomes Guests and Introduces Drivers/Celebrities. Move from Grandview Lounge to Satellite Tournament Area
• 5:30 PM - Tournament Starts in Satellite Tournament Area
• 7 PM to 7:30 PM - Winning Driver is Determined, Top 5 Teams Go to Final Table, Final Round, Brendan Gaughan Will Deal
• 7:45 PM - Winners Presentation, Participants may pick up Gifts at Location TBD

Rules:

• Participant Seating Assignments For The Tournament Will Be Pre-Drawn
• ALL Players Will Receive 5,000 In Chips: (2) $1000, (2)$500, (20) $100
• To Expedite Transitions, Provide Celebrities With A Chip Rack Containing The 5,000 Before The Round Begins.
• Celebrities Will Get A 5,000 Chip Top Up Each Round
• Standard 8-Deck Shoe With A Hand Shuffle
• Split Any Pair Up To Four Hands
• Double Down On Any 2 Cards
• Blackjack Pays 2 To 1
• Minimum Bet $100 | Maximum No Limit
• No Side Bets
• If A Player Is Out Of Chips Before The End Of The Round, They Are Out
• Final Table
• After the Third Round the Top 5 Teams Proceed to Final Table – They Will Need Chip Racks
• Teams Will Draw for Position at the Table, Use a Separate Deck for This
• Dealer Button - A Dealer Button Will Be Used To Determine Order Of Betting Only. Once Established, The Player To The Left Of The Dealer Button Will Bet First. Betting Will Proceed To The Left Until All Players Have Placed Their Bet. The Last Bet Will Be Made By The Player With The Dealer Button. Once A Bet Is Placed Inside The Betting Circle, The Bet May Not Be Changed. A Player Betting Out Of Order Will Be Required To Keep The Same Bet.
• Order of Betting Will Proceed Clockwise
• If Two Teams Go Bust On The Final Table On The Same Hand, Whoever Bet More Finishes Higher.
• Tournament Chips Have No Cash Value
• South Point Hotel Casino and Spa Management Reserves All Rights

Prize Money for Participants

• 1st - $6,500
• 2nd - $4,000
• 3rd - $2,500
• 4th - Dinner for Two to Silverado Steak House or Don Vito’s and Two Headliner Showroom Tickets (one prize for each player)
• 5th - Dinner for Two to Baja Miguel’s or Primarily Prime Rib and Two Headliner Showroom Tickets (one prize for each player)

PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE:

• $5,000 in tournament chips at the start of each session
• Commemorative jacket at the conclusion of the event
• Chance to win prize money
• Once of a lifetime experience to play blackjack with NASCAR drivers and celebrities
