Laps For Charity

Laps for Charity gives you the chance to drive your personal vehicle around the Monster Mile’s concrete track. Feel the excitement as you experience the same racing surface where your favorite NASCAR drivers compete. For $75 per vehicle, participants can take five group laps around the track behind a Dover Motor Speedway pace vehicle. Those seeking a more unique experience can purchase a(n eight-lap, VIP session for $125, giving participants the chance to be the only car on the track behind a track vehicle (VIP LAPS SOLD OUT FOR JULY. REGISTER FOR SEPT. 14 VIP LAPS HERE). Additional add-ons of pace car rides ($50) and pictures in front of the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza ($25) are also available. Event Rules

• All drivers must be 18 years of age or older with a valid state-issued driver’s license.

• Driver and passengers must complete the SCC Laps for Charity Track Waiver.

• All participants must adhere to state laws regarding the usage of seat belts and child safety restraints.

• Passenger vehicles only; convertibles, motorcycles, trikes or other all-terrain vehicles (ATV) are not permitted.

• Follow the speed set by the pace car.
  
  
• Passing other vehicles on the track is not permitted. Violators will be removed from the track.
  
  
• Drivers must stay up to speed and refrain from lagging behind in order to speed up. Violators will be removed from the track.
  
  
• SCC Laps for Charity may be postponed or canceled due to inclement weather or safety conditions.

• No alcohol is allowed
  
  
• Vehicles must be street legal
