2017 Grant Application
Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant from the Atlanta Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities. As you may know, we are an organization dedicated to helping children improve their quality of life, and through our various events and activities each year, we strive to raise funds and provide grants to non-profit children's organizations in Georgia.
To apply for a grant, the applicant organization must meet the requirements detailed in that year's Grant Application. Grants will not be made for capital funding projects, construction or remodeling of buildings, vehicle purchases or sponsorship for conferences.
Due to the large volume of applications received, Speedway Children's Charities cautions applicants that SCC cannot fulfill every grant request or guarantee full funding of the requested amount. Any application that is not complete when received by Speedway Children's Charities or is postmarked after that year's deadline will not be accepted or reviewed.
The current year's Grant Application is typically posted in early summer and is due late summer. The Atlanta Chapter Board of Trustees meets in November to make final decisions on the awarding of grants. Following that meeting, all applicants are notified in writing whether or not their charity will receive funding that year. Please no phone calls or e-mails during this process to check the status of your application, as it slows down the process for all who have applied. SCC will notify every organization who applies for a grant of its decisions when they are made. Grants are distributed by Speedway Children's Charities in early December.
